Urban Saints Westbrook is a large Victorian country residence surrounded by 18 acres of mixed parkland and managed woodland.
Just a few minutes walk from the sea, Westbrook is situated just outside the town of Ryde. It is within easy reach of all the major attractions and sights that the beautiful Isle of Wight has to offer, yet is easily accessible from the mainland too with frequent ferry, hovercraft and fast catamaran links to the south coast.
The residence and surrounding land were purchased by The Crusaders Union in 1948, in memory of the many Crusaders who lost their lives during the Second World War. It has been offering quality residential experiences for children and young people ever since.
Whether staying in the Main House or camping in the grounds, visiting groups have access to a range of meeting and eating spaces plus a wealth of sports and activities across the site.

In 2018 we installed a Public Access Defibrillator, thanks to a grant from the British Heart Foundation, and in 2024 it was upgraded to the latest model. The defibrillator is a great addition to our facilities and a real asset to both day visitors and residential guests as well as the local community too.
