The Centre

A residential centre, suitable for church, youth and school groups, set in 18 acres of mixed parkland, on the beautiful Isle of Wight

Urban Saints Westbrook is a large Victorian residence surrounded by 18 acres of mixed parkland and managed woodland.

Just a few minutes walk from the sea, it's situated just outside the town of Ryde. It's within easy reach of all the major attractions and sights that the beautiful Isle of Wight has to offer yet is easily accessible from the mainland too.

The residence and surrounding land were purchased by The Crusaders Union in 1948, in memory of the Crusaders who lost their lives during the second World War. It has been offering offering quality, bespoke, residential experiences for children and young people ever since.

Whether staying in the Main House or camping in the grounds, your group could have access to a range of meeting and eating spaces plus a whole load of activities across the site.

In 2018, we installed a Public Access Defibrillator - thanks to a grant from the British Heart Foundation. The Defibrillator is a fantastic addition to our facilities and a real benefit to both day visitors and residential guests as well as the local community too.
