At Urban Saints Westbrook we have multiple rooms and meeting spaces available to hire. Whether you are a planning a birthday party for your children, in need of a conference room for your business meeting or relaxing space for your community group, we have the perfect venue for you.
SPRINGVALE LOUNGE – ideal for conferences, training events and meetings.
Seats up to 60 theatre style, or 30 boardroom/cabaret style. Ground floor location with nearby wheelchair-accessible toilet. Main toilets accessible via stairs.
Facilities include: WXGA data projector with HDMI input, DVD player, large electric 16:9 projection screen, flipchart, whiteboard, 12-channel PA system with 4 microphones on stands and laptop/auxiliary sound input.
Hire Charge (excluding VAT): £300 full-day, £150 half-day, £150 evening. See below for catering options.
HEADINGLEY LOUNGE – ideal for smaller conferences, training events and meetings.
Seats up to 35 theatre style, or 25 boardroom/cabaret style. First floor location accessible only by stairs. Main toilets accessible via stairs.
Facilities include: XGA data projector with HDMI input, DVD player, large widescreen TV, whiteboard/projection screen, flipchart, 8-channel PA system with 4 microphones on stands and laptop/auxiliary sound input.
Hire Charge (excluding VAT): £200 full-day, £100 half-day, £100 evening. See below for catering options.
LAING ROOM – ideal for parties and social events, but can be set up theatre style for meetings
Suitable for parties/social events of up to 40 people or can seat up to 40 theatre style for meetings. Ground floor location with separate male/female/wheelchair-accessible toilets.
Facilities include: Full-size pool table, two table-tennis tables, table football, various board games, kitchen. For meetings a large widescreen TV with HDMI input can be provided, together with flipchart and whiteboard.
Hire Charge (excluding VAT): £140 full-day, £90 half-day, £100 evening.
CATERING OPTIONS (prices are excluding VAT)
We can provide in-house catering for most events and we pride ourselves on the quality of our food and service. Beverages and buffet meals can be served in the meeting rooms or main indoor Dining Room on the ground floor; sit-down meals are served in the main Dining Room. In the summer months groups may use the outdoor dining area if they wish, accessed via the main Dining Room or Springvale Lounge. We can cater for all dietary requirements if notified well in advance.
Here are our current options and charges:
Tea/coffee/fruit tea/squash and biscuits: £1.50 per person per serving
As above but with pastries or cakes instead of biscuits: £3.00 per person per serving
Buffet lunch (e.g. filled rolls, crisps, cakes/pastries, fruit): £7.50 per person
Sit-down two course meal A (e.g. baked potatoes with fillings, dessert). £9.50 per person
Sit-down two-course meal B (e.g. lasagne, garlic bread, salad, dessert). £10.50 per person
ONSITE PARKING
Please note that there are about 35 spaces in our main car parks, including spaces close to the ground floor rear entrance to the house for guests requiring wheelchair access. In the summer months additional parking is available on the grass areas, weather permitting. We encourage guests to share transport to the site – especially for larger groups in the winter months when parking may be an issue.
ACCESS TO THE GROUNDS
Our grounds and outdoor activity areas are normally reserved for use by residential groups only. However, if no residential groups are using the house then we may permit groups hiring rooms to access certain areas of the grounds by prior arrangement.
ONSITE ACTIVITIES
We can offer a wide range of on-site activities from archery and bushcraft to campfires and swimming pool hire.
